9th Annual Great Cloth Diaper Change in India

The 9th annual Great Cloth Diaper Change (GCDC) took place over the weekend of April 27-28, 2019, across 230 registered GCDC events in 50 different countries on 6 continents! Amazing isn’t it?

Excited to know what GCDC is? Well, it’s an event to promote the benefits of reusable, advanced cloth diapers while celebrating Earth day. 

India participated for the 1st time in 2018. The event was hosted by yours truly -- SuperBottoms in Mumbai & registered the highest number of participants across India!

In 2019 we took it to another level and hosted the event across 13 locations PAN India.

During this event, in a symbolic gesture, parents gathered at one place and changed their babies from disposable diapers to a 100% cloth reusable UNO or trainer at the same time. And guess how many diaper changes happened -- around 430 diaper changes with more than 1000+ families participating for the event! Can you believe it? And surprise! surprise! Chennai and Bangalore events were among the TOP 3 locations worldwide!

Ohh it was marvelous! Truly the BIGGEST cloth diapering event ever in India.
